When a general contractor had questions regarding the location and depth of the 8” PVC water main running through an area planned for further development, they contacted Ground Penetrating Radar Systems to provide assistance. Although, based on site plans, the survey crew showed the lines location, Wade Vickers - GPRS Oklahoma mobilized to the site, scanned the area of concern, and provided a precise location and approximate depth of the line. This necessary information allowed the client to avoid the line during the excavation process and tie into the water line within needed areas. GPRS marked the water lines location using blue marking paint and wrote its depth of the survey stake close by.
