GPRS was contacted by Spectro Alloys of Rosemount, Minnesota to locate private utilities at their foundry in preparation for an upcoming construction project. Troy Bartlett, Project Manager with GPRS, was called upon to locate and determine the depths of the utilities that were in the construction zone. Troy used both Radio Detection and Ground Penetrating Radar to clearly mark utilities in conflict so that construction crews could avoid them and work around them in a safe manner.
