Terra-Com Environmental of Newberry hired GPRS to locate gas tanks, gas lines and power lines at local Kissimmee gas station in order to safely bore for new monitoring wells and soil samples. Multiple lines and underground storage tanks (USTs) were located using ground penetrating radar and radio detection technologies.

Ground Penetrating Radar Systems used the GSSI 400MHz antenna and RD7000 to analyze and locate anomalies in ground on the site. GPR can also be used to locate post tension cables and conduits in concrete. GPR is a safe alternative to X-ray and does not cause disruption or safety hazard to other workers or tenants.
