Unlike your typical one-stop shop, at Ground Penetrating Radar Systems we focus on what we do best: anything and everything subsurface. We specialize in utility locating, concrete scanning, and video pipe inspection, while our experience and expertise in the industry is second to none.

Building on advancement and opportunity, we developed our own training center where every GPRS Project Manager is required to complete an extensive education program. They are trained on a variety of equipment, in a number of different settings and surfaces, before they can perform field services on your job site. Additionally, all Project Managers are SIM-qualified, proving they have the necessary knowledge and training to perform our variety of services. The staff includes a full-time training and safety director to make sure all our project managers are skilled in operating our equipment with high levels of competence and confidence, while always being conscientious about performing duties safely and accurately.

GPRS was one of the first utility locating contractors in the country to focus exclusively on concrete scanning and utility locating services. Though we primarily use ground penetrating radar, we’ve broadened our techniques to include thermal scanning and imaging, electromagnetic induction, and CCTV sewer camera systems for direct scanning of subsurface utility lines, and video pipe inspection.

Since GPRS started in September 2001, we have built a nationwide network, with project managers permanently based in over 50 cities and metro areas throughout the United States. Point blank, we have worked on some of the largest and most significant construction projects in the country and take pride in offering services that keep crews safe and protect our clients time and money.
